People just guess how much producers spends on producing movies. A simple example

A movie ‘Flushed Away’ released in 2006 had a budget of $149,000,000 and had a domestic gross income of $64,488,856 i.e. almost 43.3% of the budget. Thats good!!! Another movie in the same year named ‘Tideland’ didnt had the luck and spent around $12,000,000 and had the domestic gross income of around $66,453 i.e around 0.6% of the budget. Thats pretty not good!!

But Can anyone beleive a Hollywood film to make an income of just $30 investing $2,000,000. Thats 0.000015% of the money invested that too released in year 2006. Thats not a joke!

The name of the Film is ‘Zyzzyx Road’.

The recording started in the Summer of year 2005 and the whole movie scenes were shot in Mojave Desert and near its mines. Shooting continued just for 18 days and two additional days for pickup scenes. It was a thriller film. Katherine Heigl, Leo Grillo and Tom Sizemore were the stars. John Penney was the one who wrote the screenplay and gave direction. The film was released in only one Theatre in Dallas at Texas State, United States.

Till now this is the lowest grossing film of all time, I guess from Hollywood to Bollywood, who have just earned $30 at the box office with exactly 6 patrons. Resources said that its opening weekend netted $20. And the rest $10 was refunded by Grillo to makeup artists Sheila Moore and her friend who worked on the film and came to watch it.

This is a Box Office Bomb.
